We hebben er even op moeten wachten, maar Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy heefr een releasedatum gekregen.
De game zal op 30 juni exclusief verschijnen voor de PlayStation 4, als we Activision mogen geloven, en bevat remasters van de drie Playstation klassiekers: Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back en Crash Bandicoot: Warped.
De drie games zijn oorspronkelijk ontwikkeld door Uncharted- en The Last of Us-studio Naughty Dog, maar de remasters worden verzorgd door Vicarious Visions. Die studio is vooral bekend van Skylanders en helpt ook mee aan het vervolg op Destiny.
Dan Tanguay, van Vicarious Visions zegt het volgende via de Playstation Blog:
This is a AAA remaster. We’re giving this the love and attention to detail that we pay to all of our AAA games. We’re building it using the original level geometry so that it plays as close to the original as possible. We’ve also referred to this as a remaster plus, as we are adding new features that we think the fans are going to love!
